I specialize in commercial real estate finance, underwriting, and capital markets — spanning institutional lending, preferred equity, bridge financing, acquisitions, and investment analysis. As a Commercial Real Estate Associate at KW Commercial and a project-based finance consultant with ArcTrust and NLA Capital Partners, I’ve underwritten $175M+ in priced CRE transaction volume and supported a family-office portfolio of 80+ properties exceeding $500M — across NNN retail, NNN industrial, preferred equity, and multifamily opportunities in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, and Oklahoma. I’m a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI).
I’m fascinated by the intersection of finance, urban development, agriculture, and long-term human flourishing — because capital determines far more than balance sheets. It shapes the environments in which people live and work. As I put it in my newsletter: I work at the intersection of real estate, capital, and resilience.
I came to this from an unusual direction. I hold a B.S. in Biology from SUNY’s College of Environmental Science and Forestry, and spent seven years teaching science while completing an M.S. in Education. During that same stretch, I founded and ran LionMan School of ReWilding, an environmental education and outdoor-learning business that grew to roughly $100K in annual revenue and a 10,000-subscriber newsletter. In 2025 I moved into commercial real estate full-time — the same instinct for reading land and systems now shows up in how I underwrite deals and structure capital.
